Mr. Terrel joined United Country Real Estate in January 2007 and brings an extensive real estate and auction background to the company with 30 years of professional auction and bid calling experience across the United States. He serves as the President of United Country Auction Services where he oversees the management and operations of the largest integrated real estate and auction company in America. Terrel is also the Lead Auctioneer and a Broker for United Country – Heritage Brokers & Auctioneers based in the Northland of Kansas City, Missouri. Mr. Terrel is a former Board of Director of the National Auctioneers Association and is Past Chairman and President of the Oklahoma State Auctioneers Association. In 2007 he was named the Oklahoma State Champion Auctioneer and in 2010 he was named the Kansas State Champion Auctioneer. In 2019, Mr. Terrel was inducted into the Oklahoma State Auctioneers Associations Hall of Fame.
Mr. Terrel is a graduate of the Certified Auctioneers Institute (CAI) at Indiana University and holds the Accredited Auctioneer Real Estate (AARE) designation. He is a graduate of both the Missouri Auction School and the Texas Auction Academy, where he is a certified instructor.
Terrel also is Co-Owner and Chief Operating Officer of a nationwide oil and gas marketing company (MineralMarketing.Com), which specializes in oil & gas lease consulting, marketing and mineral rights sales. His experience in corporate management the leasing and direct sales of oil and gas mineral properties has allowed the company to grow their operations into fourteen states across the U.S.
During his career, Shawn Terrel has become recognized as an industry authority on conducting online auctions and live internet auction simulcasts. With over 4,000 auctions under his belt, Mr. Terrel has facilitated many of these events incorporating online internet auction technology solutions. Mr. Terrel is a (Retired) Senior Field Artillery Instructor with the Oklahoma Army National Guard where he has over 21 years of service. Terrel resides with his wife Lucinda and two children Kaitlin and Nicholas in the Kansas City, MO area.
Darrin has lived in Western Kansas all his life. He recently moved to the Kansas City area but will continue to have a home in Western Kansas to facilitate his real estate activities and farm projects. Darrin has been in the Agriculture industry for 40 years with a family owned business. Also he has farmed in Gray County Kansas. He has also owned and operated other businesses outside of agriculture. He has been very active in the communities in which he has lived. He has been in real estate since 2005 and has served on local and state boards. He enjoys refereeing NCAA football and local high school football games. Mike grew up in Liberty, Missouri, where he became an Eagle Scout and then studied biology at William Jewell College. As his son grew up, Mike was a Scout leader here in Kansas City, and later in Birmingham, Alabama when work took him there. His work in the healthcare industry also took him to Memphis, Tennessee and Houston, Texas. Home for Mike has always been the Kansas City area, where he currently lives in the northland with his wife, Donna. Donna is very accomplished with horses, and Mike enjoys “learning the ropes” of horsemanship by being involved with her daughters’ activities like team roping and team penning. Mike is always up for anything outdoors and in the woods, including camping, fishing, and hunting whitetails and longbeards.

Donna Chamness began working as a real estate salesperson in 1995 with a local Kansas City company. She soon expanded her career by obtaining her broker’s license and becoming co-owner of an office in rural Cass County. She joined United Country Real estate, at the corporate office, in August of 2012. Her current role there is OnBoarding Manager, working with new, existing, or transferred franchise owners. She helps them get familiar with the United Country brand, marketing, training opportunities and technology platform. Being able to work with UC affiliates all over the country, as well as internationally, has helped her gain a wealth of knowledge about the industry and valuable tips in marketing various niche property types.
Her previous career experience includes working for a major stock transfer company with its home base in Kansas City, MO. There she had many roles including processing transactions on mutual fund and retirement accounts, monitoring high dollar trades for accuracy and managing a group of mutual fund representatives. Before leaving the company she was promoted to quality assurance analyst, working with a team of developers and testing new software functionality.
Donna is a lifelong member of Missouri, growing up on a farm, outside the small rural town of Drexel. She comes from a large farm and ranch family with members throughout Cass, Jackson, Johnson, Bates and Vernon Counties. In her off hours Donna enjoys hiking, bicycling, working in her yard, DIY projects, weekends on the lake, spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren.

Ian grew up in Fort Scott, Kansas, where he developed a love for the outdoors at a young age. During his high school years, Ian spent as much time as he could bowhunting. The passion that Ian developed for the outdoors and for hunting continues to this day.
Ian earned an associate’s degree in criminal justice from Fort Scott Community College and then moved to Bartlesville, Oklahoma where he began his career as a police officer. Ian worked for the Bartlesville Police Department as a patrol officer, a field training officer, and a detective. While living in Bartlesville, Ian earned a bachelor’s degree in organizational management from Oklahoma Wesleyan University. Before joining United Country, Ian continued his work in law enforcement in the Johnson County, Kansas area.
Ian and his wife, Megan, live near Osawatomie, Kansas, and have one daughter, Maggie. Ian continues to bow hunt whitetails every fall but has also developed a love for waterfowl hunting. Once the whitetail rut starts to wind down, Ian shifts into chasing ducks and geese with his lab, Gus.

Derek grew up along the Platte River and central plains of Nebraska. Here he spent a good deal of his free time chasing pheasants through the extensive CRP fields, falling in love with archery hunting deer, and learning to talk to turkeys. Many trips hunting along the Missouri River and the Loess Hills of Missouri during the rifle season lead Derek to northwest Missouri. He graduated with a biology degree from Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville.
After meeting his wonderful wife, Jenna, they settled down in Lee's Summit MO, and have two boys, 6 and 4, and a ball-of-fire 2-year-old girl. "I have always had a strong connection to Missouri after all the rifle season openers spent at a cabin in the Hamburg Bend area in the northwest corner. Those days in the deer stand with my father, brothers, and friends, deeply engrained a passion for whitetails and deer hunting. Cody Webb is a lifelong resident of the Smithville, Missouri area, and graduated high school from Smithville. After graduation, he served our country for five years in the United States Marine Corps, including a combat deployment to Afghanistan. After receiving an honorable discharge from the Marine Corps, Cody moved to Seattle and attended commercial Dive School. Upon completion of the program, he spent four years in the dive industry which was an amazing adventure, however he had a strong desire to return home to Smithville and pursue a different career.
